Ready for some Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Amaze 4G owners? Last week, T-Mobile told us that the Amaze 4G's update to Android 4.0 would be released on May 21st, and now owners of the handset have begun reporting that the new software is indeed available. The update bumps the Amaze 4G to Android 4.0.3 and includes a handful of tweaks and fixes, including improved battery life and text input. Here's the full changelog from T-Mobile:

If you're rocking an Amaze 4G and haven't yet received a notification of the update's availability, you can check for it manually be grabbing your phone and heading into Menu > Settings > About phone > HTC software updates > Check now. The update to Android 4.0 will not only open up ICS-only apps like the Chrome Beta to the Amaze 4G, but it also brings with it HTC's Sense 3.6 UI and should keep owners of the device occupied for a bit with new stuff to play with. Amaze 4G owners, be sure to swing by the comments below once you get the Android 4.0 update installed to give us your thoughts on it!
