Sprint is a fairly recent addition to the group of carriers offering the iPhone in the U.S., joining the party late last year with the introduction of the iPhone 4S. That hasn't stopped Sprint from selling a number of iPhones, though, and now the carrier has introduced a new promotion to try and tempt iPhone users on other carriers to switch to the Now Network. Sprint has announced that it's offering to knock at least $100 off the price of a new iPhone 4S when a customer brings in any model iPhone from a competing carrier. The promo requires a new line of service and a two-year agreement. Sprint notes that actual amount of credit that a person receives will depend upon the valuation of the device. If the phone is valued more than $100, the customer will receive an additional credit, but if it's less than $100, Sprint will make up the difference with an additional credit.
Sounds like a pretty good deal for anyone that's already got an iPhone but is in the market for a newer model, especially considering that folks with older iPhones that may not actually be worth $100 in trade-in credit will still get that full amount to put toward a Sprint 4S. If you've got an iPhone on a non-Sprint carrier and are interested in joining Team Hesse and Co., you can take advantage of this promo either at a Sprint store for instant gratification or online if you don't feel like leaving the house. The deal is live now and runs through July 1st, and you can find instructions on how to take part in it at the source link below.
