The Samsung Galaxy Nexus finally made its way to Sprint this past weekend, but it seems that some owners of the handset are having issues connecting to the Now Network. Some Galaxy Nexus users on Sprint's community forums have reported that they're unable to get a data connection on Sprint's 3G network, forcing them to find a Wi-Fi connection if they want to do anything data-related. Some users have reported that they were able to get a working replacement unit at their local Sprint store, but the good news is that a Sprint admin confirmed that both the carrier and Samsung are aware of the issue and that a software update is being prepped to fix it. While the admin couldn't provide a concrete date for the update's release, they did say that both companies are "trying really hard to get it released early next week."

Considering that Sprint customers have been waiting since January to get their mitts on their version of the Galaxy Nexus, it's kind of a disappointment that some of the units are having trouble getting a data connection. It's good to see Sprint keeping its customers in the loop, though, and hopefully they'll be able to get an update out to GalNex owners early next week as planned.
