Heads up, Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi owners. Last week Google announced it would begin rolling out an Android 4.0.4 update to the XOOM Wi-Fi, and although some folks did indeed start getting it last week, it seems that the update has only recently starting hitting most folks. If you've got a XOOM Wi-Fi and haven't yet gotten the new software, go grab your slate and check to see if you've got Android 4.0.4 waiting for you.
Motorola detailed the XOOM Wi-Fi's Android 4.0.4 update before Google announced its rollout, explaining that it features the build number IMM76 and includes goodies like quicker screen rotation, camera and image quality improvements and improved stability. Sounds like a pretty worthwhile update to me. If you've got a XOOM Wi-Fi and have the Android 4.0.4 update installed, go ahead and swing by our comments section below to let us know how it's working. And if you've got a Verizon XOOM, well, just keep on keepin' on and we'll let you know when we hear more about updates for the Big Red-flavored XOOM.
