Mark your calendars, folks. Sprint and HTC just announced that they'll be holding an event on Wednesday, April 4th in New York City. Both Sprint CEO Dan Hesse and HTC President Jason Mackenzie will be on hand at the shindig, which will run from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Exactly what'll be shown at the event isn't mentioned, but the invite does say that we'll get to "experience [Sprint and HTC's] latest collaboration."
So what might the two companies have up their sleeves? We'll have to wait until April 4th before we know for sure, but that rumored HTC One X variant that we heard about yesterday is certainly a possibility. The report claimed that an LTE-capable version of the One X may be making its way to Sprint in early June. The two months between April and June (if that timing is accurate) may seem like a long time to wait, but for a device like the One X, I bet many will feel that the wait will be worth it. Whatever Sprint and HTC end up showing off on April 4th, you can bet that we'll pass along all of the deets as we get them. Until then, go ahead and let us know what you think will be trotted out on stage in the comments below.
