The Nokia Lumia 900 launch rumors continue! Originally it was thought that the Lumia 900 would be making its way to AT&T sometime this month, but last week a report suggested that the handset may not hit until April 22nd. Now a new rumor has surfaced, claiming that although the Lumia 900 will indeed be coming in April, we'll be seeing it much earlier than the 22nd. According to user Not SoTechy on The Verge forums, the Lumia 900 will be available from AT&T on April 8th. Not SoTechy claims to be an assistant manager at an AT&T store in California. The Verge has been told by its own source that Microsoft Stores are believed to be getting Lumia 900 shipments ready for the second week of April.
A commenter by the name of Jess82 over at WPCentral has echoed the April 8th date. The user, who also claims to work for AT&T, reports that the Lumia 900 will be made available online on April 8th. Jess82 also notes that because April 8th is Easter Sunday and that AT&T employees won't be working on that date, the Lumia 900 will hit AT&T stores a day later on April 9th.
So far both AT&T and Nokia have been tight-lipped about when the Lumia 900 will be launching, with the only information from the two companies coming at the 900's CES debut when they said that the device would be released "in the coming months." It's also worth noting that the rumor mill has claimed that the Lumia 900 may be priced at $99.99 whenever it does launch, but we've yet to see any concrete evidence to back that price point up. If that $100 rumor does come true, though, the 4G LTE-capable Lumia 900 and its 4.3-inch display may be tough for a lot of folks to resist. Any of you thinking about picking up the Lumia 900? If so, are you eyeing the black or cyan model?
