Just a few short days after Acer began rolling out Android 4.0 to the Iconia Tab A200, the company has shed some light on when a couple of its other Android-powered slates will be bumped up to Ice Cream Sandwich. Using its official @AcerAmerica Twitter account, Acer revealed that both the 7-inch Iconia Tab A100 and the 10.1-inch Iconia Tab A500 are expected to be upgraded to Android 4.0 in mid-April. An exact start date wasn't mentioned.
It's kind of a bummer that Iconia Tab A100 and A500 owners are still a couple of months out from being upgraded to Android 4.0. Still, the good news is that we know that the updates are coming and the window of time in which they should be landing. As for a more precise rollout date, we'll let you know more when we do. Do any of you out there have either an Iconia Tab A100 or A500?
