Late last year HTC shared a list of handsets that it said would be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in early 2012, and now that we're really getting into the new year, HTC has offered up some more details on its ICS plans. Over on its Facebook page, HTC has said that the HTC Sensation 4G (as well as the Sensation and Sensation XE) will be updated to Android 4.0 by the end of March, with the Sensation XL's update coming shortly after. HTC also reiterated that several of its other handsets will receive an ICS update later this year. The list of handsets named by HTC is as follows:
Good on HTC for keeping us up to date on its Ice Cream Sandwich rollout plans. That's a fairly sizable list of handsets, though there are some notable devices, like the ThunderBolt, that are absent. Whether or not that'll change remains to be seen, but HTC says that it intends to share more information on its Android 4.0 update plans in the coming weeks, so we'll let you know more when we do. Until then, give us a shout in the comments below if your handset is one of the many in the list above!
