Both the GSM HTC Flyer and Sprint's WiMAX-enabled EVO View 4G have been bumped up to Honeycomb over the past month or so, and today it's the Wi-Fi-only Flyer's turn to get a taste of the proper tablet version of Android. Several Flyer owners are reporting that performing a software update check on their device has alerted them to the availability of the upgrade. Once installed, the update will bring users to Android 3.2 and an overall smoother experience using the slate.
Although this update may not bring with it Ice Cream Sandwich like I'm sure many Flyer owners would prefer, the upgrade to version 3.2 of Honeycomb should still be a welcome one and is certainly better than being stuck on Gingerbread for the rest of time. Good on HTC for following through on its word to update the 7-inch Flyer. So Flyer owners, are there any Honeycomb sightings in your neck of the woods today?
