Motorola: DROID Bionic software update slated to hit in 30 to 60 days

Own a Motorola DROID Bionic? Then you'll be pleased to know that Moto is hard at work on a software update for your trusty handset. The news comes to us from our old friend Forums Manager Matt, who says that Motorola is "diligently working" on a software update that'll address problems found through owner feedback and improve the device's overall performance. The downside? The update's still got a bit of time left in the oven, as Matt says that it's expected to begin rolling out in the next 30 to 60 days.

The DROID Bionic may not be the new kid on the Verizon block for much longer thanks to devices like the DROID RAZR and Galaxy Nexus, but at least owners of the Bionic will soon have an update to distract them from all of the newness hitting Big Red's shelves. As usual, we'll keep you up to date as to the goings-on with this new software. Are there any particular bug fixes that you hope to see in the update, Bionic folk?
