Ever since the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Ice Cream Sandwich were unveiled earlier this month, most every Android device owner has been wondering whether their particular phone or tablet will be updated to Google's latest dessert. Motorola and HTC have already chimed in with their initial ICS plans, and today it's Samsung's turn, or rather Samsung Italy's turn, to share some update news. According to Italian blog Android.HD, Samsung Italy has confirmed 6 of the devices in its roster that'll be updated to Android 4.0:
Not much of a shock there considering that all of the devices on that list are recently-released, major products for Samsung. Don't be alarmed at the fact that there are only 6 devices on that list; after all, ICS was fully revealed just 10 days ago. As for U.S.-specific devices like the DROID Charge, well, we'll just have to wait for Samsung U.S. and the carriers to drop word on their plans and hope that the update process goes better this time around than it has in the past.
