Verizon 4G LTE network expanding to 13 new markets on November 17th

Good news for all of you Verizon folk currently toting around a 4G-capable device or planning on picking one up soon: today Big Red announced that another round of new markets will be joining the LTE club on November 17th. This expansion will follow the one that'll be taking place later this month and will bring the grand total of Verizon 4G LTE markets up to 178. The full list of new 4G cities and those areas that'll see expanded LTE coverage on November 17th is as follows:

New Markets

  • Little Rock, Ark.
  • Savannah, Ga.
  • Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, Iowa
  • Lexington, Ky.
  • Kansas City and Springfield, Mo.
  • Lincoln, Neb.
  • Orange County, N.Y.
  • Greater Providence
  • Rapid City, S.D.
  • Roanoke, Va.
  • Appleton, Wis.

Expansions

  • Louisville, Ky.
  • Grand Rapids, Mich.
  • Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn.
  • Pittsburgh, Pa.
  • Nashville, Tenn.

Not a bad list, right? It's nice to see Verizon continuing to spread its 4G coverage at such a steady pace, especially now that we're seeing more and more LTE-enabled products join its lineup.
