Over the weekend, we saw the iPhone 4S name pop up both as a placeholder on the Cincinnati Bell website and in the code of Apple's own iTunes beta, and this morning the 4S moniker has appeared again on Vodafone Germany's accessories website. On multiple accessory pages, including the one you see above for Apple's iPhone 4 bumper, the "Compatible with" list names the iPhone 4S in both white ("weiß") and black ("schwarz") as well as with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities. Additionally, the compatible device list mentions the 8GB iPhone 4 in both white and black.
We've heard rumors of Apple prepping a 64GB iPhone a couple of times in the past, but this is the first time we've seen the iPhone 4S listed by a retailer/carrier as coming in a 64GB configuration. Interestingly, other accessories not specifically meant for an iPhone 4-like device, like this Elgato TV receiver, also show the iPhone 4S but make no mention of an iPhone 5. What do you all make of the possibility of a 64GB iPhone 4S? Anyone think that they'd buy such a capacious iPhone?
