Mark your calendars, Android fans, because Samsung just sent out invites for the "Google Episode" of Samsung Unpacked on October 11th! The invite just arrived in our inbox and, as you can see up above, the document makes more than a few mentions of Google/Android. As mentioned before, the event will take place on Tuesday, October 11th, which just so happens to be the same date that the fall 2011 CTIA show kicks off.

Unsurprisingly, the invite doesn't come out and say exactly what's in store for the event, but it does offer up a few hints. The fact that Samsung's inviting us to "look at what's new with Android," combined with the Google branding at the bottom of the image and the fact that the event will be livestreamed at youtube.com/android, makes us think that we could finally see Ice Cream Sandwich unveiled to the masses. And since Samsung is helping to host the event, it wouldn't be a shock to see the mythical Nexus Prime/Galaxy Nexus make an appearance, too. Our fearless leader Aaron Baker will be there to cover the whole shebang live, so whatever Samsung and Google have up their collective sleeve, you can bet that we'll be report it all as it happens.
