AT&T customers, take note: new photos and details on the Motorola Atrix 2 (MB865) have made their way onto the web on this glorious Tuesday. The Atrix 4G successor, which BGR reports is carrying the codename "Edison," is said to be packing an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture as well as Android 2.3.5. There's also reportedly a dual-core processor of an unknown variety inside, though BGR opines that it could be a 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz TI OMAP core. The source of the images claims that there's no LTE to be found on this device, which is something that we learned when the device recently passed through the FCC.
So when might we see the Atrix 2 touch down on AT&T's shelves? Unfortunately, that's still a bit of a mystery. As I mentioned before, though, the device did grace the FCC with its presence over the weekend, so at least we know it's one step closer to launch. At least we've got these leaked photos of the Atrix 2 to stare at until we hear more!
