HP TouchPad Go and its 7-inch display caught on camera

You've got to feel for the HP TouchPad Go. Sure, its 10-inch TouchPad brother may have gotten less than two months on the market before HP announced that it was giving webOS hardware the axe, but the 7-inch TouchPad Go never even made it that far. Thankfully, an image of the smaller webOS slate in the wild has popped up online, showing us exactly what we're missing. As you can see in the image above, the device formerly known as Opal boasts a 4:3 aspect ratio that's more squarish than its 10-inch counterpart as well as a front-facing camera up top. Other specs for the device include a 1024x768 screen resolution, 1.5GHz APQ8060 processor, a camera around back, 16GB storage, and possibly an NFC chip as well. Check out a shot of the TouchPad Go's backside below.

As awesome as it is that we're getting a peek at the TouchPad Go, it's still kind of a bummer that the slate was so close to hitting the market before being unceremoniously killed off. Heck, the thing was caught passing through the FCC just a week before HP declared that it was discontinuing operations on webOS hardware. What do you all think of the TouchPad Go now that it's finally been revealed? Anyone think that you'd purchase one had it been released?
