Just what is the Motorola Admiral? That's a question we've been wondering for a little over a month now, but today that mystery's finally been solved. An image sent over to Engadget has revealed that the Admiral is a portrait QWERTY Android device for Sprint that's packing support for the carrier's push to talk (PTT) Direct Connect service. Other specs of the Admiral include:
Not bad, Sprint/Motorola. We're always glad to see new phones with the portrait QWERTY form factor hit the scene, and the fact that the Admiral's packing a beefy 1,860mAh battery means that you'll be PTTing all day and tweeting all night without being forced to reach for a charger. No word on when the Admiral will launch, but we'll let you know more when we do.
