It's time once again to dive into the ocean of filings that is the Federal Communications Commission and see what kinds of goodies we can discover. Today we've got our sights set on a new version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 that recently made its way into the FCC carrying the model number SGH-T859. The T859's filing reveals that this device is packing support for the 850/1900 GSM/EDGE/HSPA bands as well as the T-Mobile-friendly 1700Mhz AWS band. It's also worth pointing out that there's nothing in this filing that says "Hey you! Yeah, you! This is a Galaxy Tab 10.1!" but as you can see below, the measurements of the T859 match up perfectly with the Tab 10.1 that we know and love.
As is usually the case with these FCC filings, there's no mention of when exactly the SGH-T859 might be hitting T-Mobile for how much it'll cost when it does, but at least you Magenta folk that are in the market for a tablet have time to save up your pennies. More on this as we get it.
