Good news for you Nexus S owners heading into the weekend: Google is in the process of rolling out an over the air update to the newest Nexus that includes a fix for a voice search bug and a bump to Android 2.3.6. The update has seemingly only made its way to Sprint Nexus S 4G owners so far, but Google says that should hit everyone in "a few days." It's not all rainbows and voice-searching sunshine, though, as this new software is reportedly breaking Wi-Fi and USB tethering on each device that it's come into contact with.
It's definitely good to see Google giving Nexus S owners some bug-squashing love, although those of you that value your ability to tether may want to steer clear of this 2.3.6 update for the time being. We'll let you know when we hear more about this nasty tethering problem. Until then, if you're a Nexus S owner and you're feeling brave enough to give this update a go, be sure to let us know how it's working for you!
