Motorola DROID Bionic launch date outed in Verizon teaser as user guide leaks [UPDATED]

Boy, the Motorola DROID Bionic just can't get enough of the spotlight. Today we've got a new batch of information on Moto and Verizon's upcoming 4G LTE smartphone for you, starting with some launch date details from Big Red itself. Verizon has posted a teaser for the Bionic on its official YouTube account that's exactly the same as the one that leaked last month, but with one glaring difference: the new clip shows the date "09.08.11" where the old one simply said "September." So just in case you needed even more evidence that the phone is one week away, there you have it. The full clip is embedded below.

Next up on today's edition of The DROID Bionic Show is info on the device's full retail pricing. We heard in mid-August that the Bionic may end up being priced at $589.99 sans contract, and now that pricing has seemingly been confirmed by the DroidDoes scavenger hunt terms and conditions. After digging through all of the legalese in the T&C, one can see that the Bionic is listed as having an average retail value (ARV) of $589.99. So anyone that wants to avoid signing a two-year commitment for the Bionic can likely expect to shell out $590 to do so.

Finally, we've got some light reading for those of you with some free time tonight. The DROID Bionic's full user guide has leaked and is available for download right here. It's a pretty lengthy read, with the PDF document clocking in at 68 pages, but I can't think of a better way to spend your last Bionic-less week.

At this point it doesn't seem like there's much else about the Bionic that could leak out. We're still waiting for Verizon to come forward with an official announcement on the device's availability which, if the past is any evidence, should happen next Tuesday or Wednesday. Of course, the Bionic is kind of a big deal for Verizon and Moto, so who knows when the two companies will confirm all of this. You know what'll happen when it does finally goes down? If you guessed "PhoneDog will let me know," then you win!

UPDATE: Just in case you're curious about that QR code that flashes at the 0:28 mark, it takes you right here, which offers up a link to download the Droid Bionc ARena app necessary for Verizon and Motorola's scavenger hunt.

Thanks Allen!
