HTC Rhyme, Motorola XOOM LTE are both a part of the latest Verizon MAP leak

Time to put on a deerstalker and do your best Sherlock Holmes impression, because tonight we've got a bit of a mystery on our hands. The folks over at Droid-Life have gotten hold of a new Verizon minimum advertised price (MAP) list and, although much of it is the same as what we've seen in the past, there are a couple of new devices to mention. The most interesting product here is the HTC Rhyme, aka ADR6330, which originally appeared without the "Rhyme" name in a pre-MAP leak last month. Unfortunately, we don't know much more about this handset outside of the fact that it'll carry a $199.99 price tag and could show up at the tail end of September.

The other new device on the new MAP list is the Motorola XOOM LTE. This new XOOM features a $499.99 price tag that's set to kick in on September 8th, meaning we could see the 4G-enabled slate landing on the same day as the Bionic.

Getting back to the HTC Rhyme, the phone's ADR6330 model number slots it between the HTC Merge (ADR6325) and DROID Incredible 2 (ADR6350). That information, combined with the Rhyme's $199.99 price, suggests that we're looking a mid-range device. We heard about an HTC device with a Merge-like keyboard in the last ADR6330 leak, and right now it seems that the Rhyme could still fit that profile. Plus, the "Rhyme" name suggests that the device may be tied in with Beats in some way. Of course, the Rhyme has the potential to be just about anything, but a keyboard-packin' Android phone could make sense for Verizon considering that it never really launched the Merge. With a MAP scheduled to kick in on September 29th, it may be at least a few more weeks before we see anything official concerning the Rhyme, but hey, that's what leaks are for. Stay tuned for more!
