Rumors of a Sprint iPhone are nothing new, but the ol' rumor mill got a jolt of energy last week when a report emerged claiming that both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 would be coming to the Now Network in mid-October. Unsurprisingly, Sprint has remained quiet on the subject since the emergence of the aforementioned report, and a new document leaked to the folks at SprintFeed has revealed that the No. 3 carrier would like its employees to follow suit. The memo advises all employees to respond to any questions about the Sprint iPhone with a simple "No comment," even when asked by friends or family. What if that answer isn't good enough for the inquiring customer? Sprint's workers are allowed to give the following canned response: "Yes, I saw a few of those reports. I don't have any information to share."
Obviously, this leaked document isn't confirmation that the iPhone is indeed coming to Sprint. The fact that Sprint is telling its employees to respond to questions about the device with a "No comment" rather than denying the rumors outright, though, certainly makes one wonder if there really is an iPhone in Sprint's future. What do you all think? Could we see Apple's smartphone on the nation's other major CDMA carrier later this year?
