Ready for yet another way to jam out to your favorite music on your BlackBerry? That's exactly what you'll be getting next month, according to a report from All Things D. The site claims that RIM is gearing up to launch a subscription-based music service called BlackBerry Music, which will arrive in beta form in early September. Signing up for the $5 per month service would allow users access to 50 songs that would be shareable with your BlackBerry-toting brethren that are also a part of BB Music. Don't expect to be able to move your music to a PC or another smartphone, though, as users will reportedly only be able to transfer their tunes to the BlackBerry PlayBook. The service is expected to be made widely available in the U.S. sometime this fall.

BlackBerry Music sounds like an interesting concept from the folks at RIM, especially when you consider that other music services like Rdio charge $10 per month for mobile access. Of course, those other services also offer unlimited tracks for a Hamilton a month. Will the cheaper monthly rate and the ability to share that hot new Ke$ha track with your BBM buddies be enough to make up for the 50 song limit? Guess we'll find out next month.
