Earlier this month, Sprint announced that it would be offering the BlackBerry Bold 9330 and Torch 9850, saying that both devices would be coming this fall but opting not to get into launch date or pricing specifics. Does that mean that we have to wait around for Sprint to share official availability details? No way! Thanks to leaked Sprint Playbook documents sent to CrackBerry, we can confirm that both the Bold 9930 and Torch 9850 will be hitting the Now Network's shelves on Sunday, August 21st. As for pricing, the Bold 9930 will cost $249.99 with a two-year contract ($499.99 full retail), while the Torch 9850 will set you back $149.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate ($449.99 full retail).
We've first learned of the Bold 9930 and Torch 9850's August 21st launch way back in early June, but you know we always love to get details straight from the horse's carrier's mouth. As for pricing, the Bold 9930's on-contract $250 price tag may seem a tad steep to some, but I'm sure many BlackBerry addicts will gladly open their wallets considering how long it's been since Sprint got a new RIM handset. The Torch 9850's cost, on the other hand, seems pretty reasonable. So now that the launch and pricing info for the 9930 and 9850 are all but official, how many of you Sprint customers plan on picking one of them up and getting knee-deep in BlackBerry 7?
