We've been treated to a number of leaked Motorola DROID Bionic photos over the past couple of months, and today we've got even more for you to see. This latest batch, however, comes from a much more official source than all the others: the Federal Communications Commission. Today the FCC revealed a handful of documents for the Bionic, giving us yet another peek at the 4G LTE smartphone as well as its user guide. The photos don't reveal much of the Bionic that we haven't already seen, but thankfully the user manual does have some juicy tidbits to divulge.
First up, the documentation confirms that the Bionic is packing a 4.3-inch 540x960 qHD display, not the 4.5-incher that's been rumored. Kind of a bummer for those folks who live their lives by the mantra that bigger is better, but certainly not a deal breaker. The other interesting feature detailed in the Bionic's guide is the handset's Global Phone capability. We haven't heard much about this aspect of the device in the past, but if the ability to roam internationally does indeed make it into the final product, I'd say that that would make an already enticing handset nearly irresistible.
At this point I'd say that we've got a pretty good idea of what the new Motorola DROID Bionic will look like and exactly what makes it tick thanks to the multitude of leaks that have popped up as of late. We're still waiting on Verizon to come forward with official Bionic launch and pricing information, although we've heard that September 8th could be the day that the handset finally hits the market.
