Waiting for the LG Thrill 4G to hit AT&T and help you get your 3D on? Well you can't get one quite yet, but if a document acquired by Engadget is correct, you can mosey on over to your local Radio Shack and pre-order your very own Thrill today. As you can see above, plunking down $50 for a Radio Shack gift card will net you a reservation for a Thrill 4G, which is expected to arrive on The Shack's shelves on August 7th. When it does hit Radio Shack, the Thrill is expected to be priced at $79.99 with a two-year contract, while the more contract averse of you can expect to pay the $549.99 full retail price.
The August 7th release date that this doc mentions is a tad later than the possible July launch that a previous leak alleged, but there are a couple of possible reasons for this: either the Thrill 4G was slated to arrive this month but got pushed back a couple of weeks for whatever reason or perhaps Radio Shack will simply be getting the handset later than other outlets. Whatever the explanation, it definitely looks like we're getting close to seeing another 3D smartphone make its way to U.S. carrier shelves. Anyone excited?
