The Nexus S 4G on Sprint was rumored to be getting an update on July 11th that would enable its NFC secure element for Google Wallet use and include a few other enhancements and bug fixes. For whatever reason, the update didn't arrive as planned, and no new release date has been given for it since. According to sources speaking with SprintFeed, though, the GRJ90 update may be right around the corner. The site's tipsters claim that the Nexus S 4G's update is currently slated to arrive next week. One of them even went so far as say that July 18th may be the day that it all goes down.
As with all leaked/rumored release dates, things can and often do change at the last minute, so don't go clearing your schedule for next Monday just yet. When we learn more about the Nexus S 4G's update and when it'll be making its way into the wild, though, you can be sure we'll pass along the details.
