Last month saw Toshiba finally put its Thrive tablet up for pre-order after months of pricing and naming leaks and rumors. The problem? Toshiba didn't divulge the Thrive's launch date, saying only that the device would be coming in the middle of July. If a new screenshot fresh out of Best Buy is to be believed, though, the Thrive will be making its way to market in less than a week. As you can see up above, an image from Best Buy's inventory sent over to Engadget shows that Toshiba's slate could begin thriving (zing!) on store shelves on July 10th, aka this Sunday.
So there you have it. Pricing for the Toshiba Thrive will be set at $479 for the 16GB model or $579 for the more capacious 32GB flavor, which is a full $20 less than the comparably-sized versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Apple iPad 2. Anyone thinking about pulling the trigger?
