Slowly but surely, AT&T's various Android devices are gaining the ability to install apps from non-Market sources. Today it's the Motorola Bravo that's been given the gift of sideloading. Interestingly, Bravo owners need to install an app from the Android Market called "Sideload Enabler for BRAVO" in order to enable the Unknown Sources option in the device settings. Kind of strange, but hey, it's good to see Bravo owners gain the choice to sideload apps, so we won't complain. You can find the app in the web version of the Android Market right here.
While not everyone was happy with AT&T's initial decision to block the sideloading of apps and its explanation for doing so, I'm sure most of us can agree that it's great that AT&T's devices are finally gaining that feature. Plus, AT&T has said that all of its Android products will have the ability enabled out of the box going forward. Hooray for choice!
