When the Motorola Triumph for Virgin Mobile was unveiled earlier this month, there was just as much, if not more, excitement for it than there was for Sprint's Motorola Photon 4G. At the time there was no mention of the Triumph's launch date outside of a vague "summer" window, but today we've learned that the 4.1-inch handset may be launching sooner rather than later. As you can see above, an image from the July 2011 edition of People StyleWatch shows that the Triumph may be launching on Tuesday, July 19th.
As a quick refresher, the Triumph features a 4.1-inch 480x800 display, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture, VGA FFC, 512MB RAM, 2GB built-in storage, 1400mAh battery, and a vanilla build of Android 2.2. There's no word on pricing, but if the July 19th launch date holds true we should be learning more soon. Anyone planning on pulling the trigger on a Triumph next month?
