Interested in picking up a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 to call your very own when it launches in the early summer? Then you'll be glad to know that the device, also known as the GT-P7310, just passed through the FCC en route to store shelves. There's not really any new information to be found in the report, but the fact that the Tab 8.9 has made it through our favorite government agency is a good indicator that it's still on track to hit this summer.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has some pretty decent specs, including a 1280x800 display, 1GHz dual-core processor, and a pair of cameras, but its 8.9-inch screen size will really help it stand out in the ever-growing Android-powered tablet market. Its pricing — $469 for the 16GB model, $569 for the 32GB version — probably won't hurt, either. So, anyone planning on grabbing a Galaxy Tab 8.9? (If you're still on the fence, Aaron's hands-on with the slate has been embedded below.)
