Good news, Sprint users! Your Android smartphone selection just grew by two thanks to a couple of new handsets from Motorola. First up we've got the Motorola XPRT, which looks more than a little similar to Verizon's DROID Pro. Launching on June 5th for $129.99 with a two-year contract, the XPRT features a 3.1-inch 480x320 display, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 2GB microSD card preinstalled, 1860mAh battery, world phone capabilities, mobile hotspot with support for up to five devices, a BlackBerry-like physical keyboard, and Android 2.2 running beneath MOTOBLUR.
The second new Moto device for Sprint is the Titanium, which is actually the successor to the aging Motorola i1. The Titanium is packing a 3.1-inch 480x320 touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with flash, built to Military Specification 810G to resist dust, shock, vibration, low pressure, solar radiation, high temperature and low temperature, Push to Talk support, a full QWERTY keyboard, 2GB microSD card preinstalled, and Android 2.1. There's no word yet on when the Titanium will launch or how much it'll cost when it does.
Despite the fact that both of Motorola's new handsets are very DROID Pro-esque, I'm sure that there are more than a few folks, especially those that were let down by the Samsung Replenish, are excited to see these portrait QWERTY Android handsets arrive on Sprint. This is especially true when you consider that the XPRT is priced a full $50 less than Verizon is trying to sell the DROID Pro for. So, anyone planning on picking one of these two shiny new Androids up?
