If you're in the market for an HTC-made Android device on AT&T, the options are pretty slim: you've got either the aging Aria or the Inspire 4G. Thanks to a recent FCC filing, though, it seems that that lineup may be growing in the near future. The HTC Wildfire S, which was announced way back at Mobile World Congress in February, was just spotted getting the FCC's stamp of approval for use on the very same 850/1900MHz bands that ATT uses for its 3G network.
Obviously this news doesn't guarantee that Ma Bell will ever actually launch the Wildfire S but, considering how committed AT&T is to expanding its Android lineup in 2011, it wouldn't surprise me to see it happen.
