Did you love the sound of HTC's new Sense 3.0 that we reported on earlier this week? Hopefully you're planning on buying a new handset in the near future, because that's the only way you'll get your mitts on it. HTC sent out a tweet earlier today explaining that, because of the hardware that's required to support the new UI, only new devices like the EVO 3D, Sensation 4G, and Flyer will be given access to the new skin.
Although it's great to know that we'll be seeing the new Sense land on smartphones in the near future, it's kind of a bummer that owners of devices like the EVO 4G won't be updated to the new interface. Of course, knowing the Android community, I'm sure that users of those handsets will eventually be able to experience Sense 3.0 as long as they don't mind getting their hands a little dirty and loading up a new ROM or two.
UPDATE: HTC has clarified that, while there are parts of Sense 3.0 that won't make it to older devices due to hardware limitations, there are other aspects that they do plan to bring to those handsets.
