Nearly a week ago, Motorola told us that it was prepping a software update for the Atrix 4G, but the company kept its lips sealed when it came to sharing what fixes and enhancements the update would actually contain. Moto just announced that the Atrix's update will begin rolling out today, though, and we've finally been given the list of improvements that are included:
It's pretty disappointing that the 17MB update doesn't include HSUPA connectivity or a fix for the voice quality issues that some Atrix owners have been having, but any update is better than none at all, I suppose. Thankfully, AT&T recently said that both the Atrix and Inspire should be getting an update to enable HSUPA next month, and I can't imagine that a voice quality fix will be far behind. Atrix users, be sure to share with us when your update arrives!
