Last month we saw HP tease webOS 3.0 on the TouchPad and, while there's still no official word on when we can expect them to be released, today we did get another step closer to their launch. Today HP announced that the webOS 3.0 SDK is now available, but you've got to be a part of the company's Early Access program to get your hands on it. Anyone that's got any kind of interest in developing for the TouchPad should definitely check it out, and if you're an existing developer and not already a member of the Early Access program, you can shoot an email to this address and apply.
Keeping up new webOS product news, PreCentral heard from HP's VP of Worldwide Developer Relations that the Veer is "on course" to arrive in May. Of course, we don't know which carriers will be releasing the Veer or when they'll launch it, but at least we know the device is getting close.
Thanks to a few previous leaks, we've heard that the TouchPad could arrive sometime in June of this year, which seems a bit more likely now that HP is releasing the webOS 3.0 SDK to allow devs to build apps for their slate. We're still waiting to hear more on the Pre 3's launch date beyond the "summer" window that's already been announced, but given that we've now entered the wonderful season of spring, hopefully more info will become available soon. Stay tuned!
