I hope you've been saving your pennies, Android users, because your Market experience could be getting a lot more expensive beginning next week. Google announced today on the Android Developers Blog that testing of Android's in-app purchasing system has officially begun, with a full roll out planned for sometime next week. If you happen to be an Android dev, you can now add in-app products to your software that's currently available, set prices, and even set up a test account to make sure that the entire process will work smoothly and securely for end users next week.
Last month Google told us that in-app payments would be coming soon and, while the whole thing might've taken a little longer than most of us would've liked, I'm sure that there are plenty of devs that are happy that it's here. How many of you Android users out there think that you'll take advantage of in-app purchases when the feature goes live next week?
