Sprint unveiled the HTC EVO 4G around a year ago and, while it may still be one of the best Android devices around, I'm sure many folks are ready for another high-end Android on the Now Network. If a new rumor is true, though, we won't be waiting much longer to see some great, new Android products on Sprint. According to a one of Android and Me's "regular sources," next month Sprint will announce the Motorola Atrix (lapdock in tow) and XOOM for their network. Best of all? They're said to be packing WiMAX compatibility. It's worth noting that both devices may end up coming to Sprint with different names and that the Atrix may look slightly different, but by the sound of things, their specs will remain intact.
This rumor might seem kind of strange at first, but both the Atrix and the XOOM are flagship products for Moto, and I'm sure that they'd like to make them available to as many customers as possible. If the two devices do end up making their way to Sprint's shelves, it'll be interesting to see how they stack up against other high-end upcoming products like the HTC EVO 3D and EVO View (assuming those are real, anyway). Would a WiMAX-capable Atrix or XOOM pique your interest? Between those two devices and HTC's two upcoming products, which do you think you'd rather have?
UPDATE: Looks like this rumor just gained a bit more traction, as a Sprint-branded Motorola XOOM has been posted by r0fl over in the Sprint Users forums.
