There's been a couple of rumblings of a Nokia-branded tablet in the past, but today the Finnish firm got a U.S. patent for a tablet design that looks positively N8-ish. The patent was applied for on May 28th of last year, which makes Engadget believe that the device was intended to run MeeGo. There's not much more info on the tablet to be found, but considering the plethora of ports on the side/bottom, it's likely that it's sporting a 9 or 10-inch display.

It's not clear if we'll ever actually see the device above make it to market, especially now that Nokia has aligned itself with Microsoft and Windows Phone 7, but one can certainly hope. Based on the (admittedly little) information we have on the above device, is it something that you'd like to see come to market?
