Back at the tail end of January, we saw a BlackBerry roadmap leak which purportedly revealed the release windows of upcoming CDMA 'Berrys like the Montana and Monaco. Today it's GSM's time to shine, as the folks at N4BB claim to have gotten their hands on roadmap straight from RIM, and possibly T-Mobile, as well. First up, though, is the WiFi-only PlayBook, which looks like it should be arriving around late March or early April, lining up with what we've heard in the past. Next we have the BlackBerry Dakota is set to launch sometime around the end of May or beginning of June, followed by the Apollo coming in July. The Torch 2 is apparently "under consideration" for a launch around the same time as the Dakota, though it sounds like that could end up changing.
There's been a lot of hype surrounding the Dakota/Bold Touch since it'll combine the touch experience of a Torch/Storm with the physical QWERTY that many BlackBerry diehards swear by, so it's pretty exciting that it could be only a couple of months out. Plus, if this roadmap is indeed from T-Mobile, I'm sure that there'll be at least a few Magenta fans that'd like to pick up a Torch 2 without having to pick up an unlocked AT&T model.
