Apple's iPad 2 announcement this week didn't come as much of a surprise to many, but for anyone that don't follow tech obsessively or just couldn't wait and bought an iPad 1 recently, Apple's got your back. The company just confirmed that it's offering a $100 refund to anyone that purchased the OG iPad within 14 days of the iPad 2's announcement. Apple wouldn't give a specific cutoff date, but two weeks works out to around February 16th, so if you bought an iPad after that date, you should head into your local Apple store or give customer support a ring to get the Benjamin added back to your credit card.
Anyone who recently bought a new iPad only to have its successor revealed has to be kind of disappointed, but hey, at least you're getting $100 out of the deal. Think of the everything that you could buy with that extra cash!
