Boy, AT&T sure is on a Froyo roll. First up they rolled out Android 2.2 to the Samsung Captivate, then the Dell Streak, and today the HTC Aria is getting a scoop of its own. Just as promised, the Aria's 2.2 update is now available, and just like the Captivate's upgrade, users must download the file and install it using their computer. Once you've got everything nice and backed up, you can find the download link right here.
I'm sure that, given the choice, Aria users would prefer to be getting bumped up to Gingerbread instead of Froyo, but hey, it's better than no update at all, right? Now we just have to cross our fingers and wait to see if 2.3 eventually makes its way to the diminutive handset. Aria owners, once you get Froyo up and running on your handset, be sure to come back and let us know how everything is going!
