Although Android 2.3 was revealed over two months ago, there's still only one handset that's been officially updated to the new OS: the Nexus S. That may finally be changing soon, though, as it's being reported that the Nexus One could finally be getting bumped up to Gingerbread "within the next few days." This news reportedly comes some Google employees and other sources who say that the over the air update will be underway by the end of this week or the beginning of next week.
It's kind of surprising that the N1 is still without its update to Gingy, but you have to imagine that Google will be pushing the OTA upgrade out some time soon. After all, it's been quite a while since 2.3 was announced, and one of the allures of the Nexuses (Nexii?) is quicker Android OS updates. We'll be sure to keep you updated on the situation, so stay tuned!
