We've kind of known the Samsung Galaxy S 4G's launch and pricing data for a while now thanks to a handful of various leaks, but today T-Mobile finally came forward with all of the official information. The Galaxy S 4G will be released on February 23rd for $149.99 after a two-year contract and mail-in rebate. T-Mo says that this pricing is only available "for a limited time," but they weren't any more specific beyond that.
After seeing all of the Galaxy S 4G pricing leaks, I've said that T-Mo would be smart to launch the device for $150 on-contract, so it's nice to see that actually happen. Although it doesn't seem like much of a step up from the Vibrant outside of HSPA+ connectivity and a front-facing camera, the Galaxy S 4G still looks like a pretty slick little device. Then again, so does the Galaxy S II, but we don't have any sort of U.S. launch info for that handset just yet. So, anyone picking up a Galaxy S 4G later this month?
