Samsung is expected to announce the follow-up to its Galaxy Tab next week at Mobile World Congress, but today details about the device may have just leaked out for the world to see. Sources speaking with Pocket-lint claim that Sammy will unveil a 10.1-inch tablet at MWC which will be powered by Honeycomb and a dual-core Qualcomm processor. Other rumored features of the device include an 8 megapixel camera and a form factor that's both thinner and lighter than the current Galaxy Tab.

While we don't know exactly how many Galaxy Tabs have been sold, and likely never will, it still takes the crown as one of the first, if not the first, viable choices when it came to selecting an Android-powered tablet. Now that Google has made the tablet-friendly Android 3.0 available and companies like Motorola and LG are pushing out their own big slates, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Samsung wants to try its hand at making another Android tablet. What is interesting, though, is that they're going with a 10-inch screen size with the device. That doesn't mean that Sammy won't be making a 7-inch device, though, so you fans of smaller tablets shouldn't lose hope just yet.
