HP's big webOS-focused event is kicking off in just under an hour, but the company just leaked its new products on its website a little early. HP touts the fact that webOS now comes in three different sizes (small, medium, and large) with the Veer, Pre 3, and TouchPad. It's not clear whether the Pre 3 or Veer will be the smaller handset, but it looks like HP finally settled on "TouchPad" as the name for its shiny new tablet, which PreCentral says will be 13mm thick and weigh 1.5 pounds. There just so happens to be another tablet on the market with those exact dimensions that goes by the name "iPad."
We'll almost assuredly be learning more about these products in around an hour at HP's event, which we'll be covering live right here, but we can still get a little speculation in before the fun begins! I'm going to bet that the Veer will be the smallest webOS device of the lineup, and it wouldn't surprise me if it ended up being a successor to the Pixi. I just hope that the mention of three different sizes means that HP has pumped up the specs of the Pre 3, especially the screen size and resolution. The Pre 2 was plenty speedy, but its display simply wasn't enough to compete with devices like the iPhone 4 and Motorola Atrix 4G. We don't have to wait long to see if these predictions are right, so stay tuned!
