Sony Ericsson's XPERIA Play is one of the leakiest phones in recent memory, originally appearing way back in October 2010. Today the handset is finally official, though, as SE has sent out invites to its debut on February 13th at 6PM GMT. We've also been treated to a longer version of the somewhat creepy ad that leaked a few days ago and a couple of high quality photos of the XPERIA Play, baring its gamepad for all to see (not that we didn't already know exactly what it looked like).
We may already know just about everything there is to know about the XPERIA Play, but I'm glad to finally see it made official. Now we can finally learn when it'll be hitting U.S. shores so we can finally spend some hands-on time with the device. We'll be bringing you all of that info, and everything else from Mobile World Congress, so be sure to stay tuned! In the mean time, which carrier(s) do you think will offer the XPERIA Play in the U.S.?
