Ever since the Nexus S was launched just over a month ago, it's been experiencing a little problem that causes it to randomly reboot itself. Users have been waiting patiently for a fix, and now Google has finally come forward with the news we've been waiting to hear: the reboot patch will be arriving over the air "within one to two weeks." The full statement from Google employee Ry Guy:
"The initial results of our tests look very promising. At this rate we will most likely be rolling out an OTA to resolve this issue within one to two weeks. We really appreciate your patience as we do our final verifications on this fix before sending it out."
It seems kind of crazy that it's taken over a month for a fix to the reboot problem considering how big of an issue it is, but it took a while for the Goog to even acknowledge the problem. All that matters now is that a fix is coming, though. Out of curiosity, Nexus S owners, how often have you seen the rebooting problem on your handset?
