Motorola confirms Atrix 4G, XOOM, DROID Bionic, and LTE XOOM launch dates

There's been a lot of speculation lately about exactly when Motorola's new 4G Android phones and XOOM tablet will be launching, but today the company gave us the official word on when we can expect all of those devices. First up are the Atrix 4G and the XOOM, which have been rumored to be arriving in mid-February. Turns out those claims weren't far off, as Moto has said that they'll both be launching at "the end of February."

Unfortunately, Verizon customers waiting to get in on the 4G Moto fun will be waiting a bit longer than their AT&T counterparts. The DROID Bionic will be arriving at "the end of the second quarter," and it'll be joined by the LTE-capable version of the XOOM at the same time.

These launch windows have been flying around the rumor mill for some time now, but it's always great to get confirmation straight from the company's CEO. Now that we know that the XOOM is confirmed for launch next month, that potential Feb. 17th launch looks even more realistic, which is pretty exciting for those of us itching to get our hands on Honeycomb. At the same time, it's kind of a bummer that the DROID Bionic won't be out until May or June. I suppose the upside is that that gives Big Red more time to build out its LTE network, meaning more of us can enjoy 4G goodness on the Bionic when it is launched. Are any of you going to wait for a Bionic, or is the ThunderBolt and its simultaneous voice and data calling your name (while surfing the web at the same time)?
