Motorola's Atrix 4G may be launching on AT&T as soon as March 1st, but it appears that Best Buy locations could be getting the dual-core monster even earlier. After taking part in some employee meetings this past weekend, a poster at AndroidForums is claiming that the big box retailer's warehouses will begin stocking the Atrix 4G around February 13th. The actual launch date isn't known just yet, but since Best Buy employees have begun training with the device, many believe that it'll be released shortly after the 13th.
On a separate but still Atrix-related note, a different BBY employee is reporting that the laptop dock we saw demoed at CES will carry a price tag of "around" $150.
It seems kind of strange that AT&T would allow a flagship device like the Atrix 4G launch at Best Buy before its own corporate stores get it, but two separate reports from BBY employees suggest that that's exactly what's going to happen. If that means that we'll get our hands on the Atrix that much sooner, though, I'm certainly not going to complain. On the topic of the laptop dock, I think that $150 sounds pretty fair. It might seem a bit steep for an accessory, but it's important to remember that you're getting a nearly full-fledged laptop when you combine the Atrix and the dock, and $150 isn't a bad price for a capable machine. Do you all think that $150 is a good price for the laptop dock, or is that not something that you would see yourself using much?
